Founded in Barcelona, Spain in 2004. In summer 2005, Esteban NAVARRO and Manel ORELLA (keys and guitar) got together to perform a series of bizarre shows as a funny and singular duet. Not really good stuff but great fun! A year later they decided to increase the family, bringing in Dídac GARCÍA (bass) and Joan MONTANÉ (drums). That was it, a real band! But… would they be able to face the progrock challenge? It took a year to prepare an hour of a proggy repertoire, and in 2007, it finally saw the light of day.

Born on November 13, 1973 in Philadelphia, Ari Hoenig, was exposed at an early age to a variety of musical experiences. His father is a conductor and classical singer, his mother a violinist and pianist. Accordingly, at 4 years of age, Ari began studying the violin and piano. He began playing drums at age twelve, and by age fourteen he was honing his skills with other young jazz musicians at Philly clubs such as Ortlieb’s JazzHaus.

A volte il processo creativo di produzione è stupefacente. Mi chiedevo, ascoltando le vecchie registrazioni di Keith Tippett o del primo album degli Aktuala di Lino, come potrebbero suonare se tutti fossero membri di una sola band. Quindi ho colto l'occasione per organizzarmi questa performance nella mia città natale per "Musiche Nuove a Piacenza Festival ". Avevo lavorato prima con tutti e quattro i musicisti e sentivo che poteva funzionare facendoli lavorare insieme. Furono tutti così generosi che accettarono di far diventare questo progetto una nuova band ed io sono sicuro che ce ne saranno altri in futuro. E 'stata davvero una serata magica.
