Milano, 5 dic. (askanews) – Venerdì 6 dicembre sbarca in tutti gli store digitali il primo progetto discografico di Sarafine, vincitrice dell’edizione 2023 di XFactor. L’EP, pubblicato da Warner Music Italia, si intitola “Un trauma è per sempre” e contiene 7 tracce che si muovono tra produzioni elettroniche e testi intrisi di storie personali. Parlando dell’anno appena trascorso e della sua scelta, assolutamente controcorrente, di non pubblicare brani o album appena uscita dal talent di Sky, Sarafine ha dichiarato: “E così sono rimasta, in silenzio, a scrivere la mia narrazione e la mia musica” – prendendo spunto dalle parole del filosofo coreano Byung-chul Han (“Il silenzio approfondisce la parola, senza silenzio non c’è musica, ma solo rumore”). Sara Sorrenti (questo il vero nome di Sarafine nata a Salerno nel 1988 ma cresciuta a Vibo Valentia, in Calabria, ha anche vissito in Belgio e Lussemburgo) dopo la partecipazione e la vittoria ad XFactor, un anno fa, aveva deciso infatti di sovvertire le regole del gioco prendendosi tutto il tempo necessario per lavorare alla sua musica.

Andres Fernandez Amador opens the album by performing modern flamenco in the style of Paco de Lucia, Pata Negra, and the Gipsy Kings. As a Gypsy from Spain, he has flamenco in his blood, and it shows through these passionate performances. Rafa El Tachuela explores flamenco’s elements of jazz and their musical connection with ancient Arab culture. The late Manuel Lopez-Ruiz, also known as El Chachi, is a renowned flamenco guitarist and some of his rare recordings are heard here. Founded in 1990, Spanish Gypsy features several renowned musicians including Juan Plazuelo and Pedro Palomo. Rounding out the lineup is Grupo Macarena, which was founded in 1997 and consists of a varying number of talented musicians ♫

Quatro: The Definitive Collection assembles four truly classic Tito Puente albums recorded between 1955 and 1960 for RCA, and adds a disc of outtakes, alternate takes, and rarities in a lavishly designed limited-edition box set. The box is 6" x 6" with each album housed individually in a thick cardboard sleeve with back and front facsimile cover art. These four albums were cut in chronological order: Cuban Carnival (1956), Night Beat (1957), Dance Mania (1958), and Revolving Bandstand (1960), the last recorded in collaboration with the Buddy Morrow Orchestra.
