Michael Le Van began his lifetime pursuit of music at nine years old. Classically trained, he graduated from California State University, Fullerton, California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Composition. There he studied with master teacher Earl Voorhies, himself a pupil of Alexander Siloti, one of Liszt's favorite students.

Kathryn Kaye is a composer and pianist whose music transcends genres and categories. Classically trained as a soprano, pianist, and organist in the U.S. and Germany, her evocative and haunting melodies are at the same time simple and profound, emotional and yet restrained. Among her sources of inspiration are classical music, jazz, New Age, and the hymns and folksongs of the Appalachian Mountains of southeast Kentucky, where she grew up.

"Shape Your Shade" is a 4 track MCD produced as a promotional release for the forthcoming album "Suvmi". Spies under Von Magnet influence project was inspired by two Spies remixes for Von Magnet released in 2003 and 2004. From that moment the production of a complete album based of Von Magnets original songs taken from their whole discography was conceived. The chosen songs have been 'digested', re-visited, re-arranged, mixed and produced according to Spies musical-universe by Holeg. More than an album of remixes, Holeg created a complete album. The result of this album is a trip through a wide range of styles from electronica to rock toward world music, ambient and experimental within an overall cinematic mood.
