Moon Safari is a young and unique band from Sweden. Their trademark is cheerful prog with polyphonic (multiple voices) vocals. So far the band released three studio albums; “A Doorway to Summer” (2005), “Blomljud” (2008) and “Lover’s End” (2010). After releasing their brilliant “Lover’s End” album, the band was invited back to perform on the ROSfest festival. This double album is recorded live at the Rites of Spring Festival, the Majestic Theater, Gettysburg, PA on May 20, 2011.

“The River st Blues” is the solo debut album from singer Petter Sandström. It’s a love letter to soul music, as well as a love letter to the one that got away. Petter Sandström’s blue eyed soul voice soars through the songs like Daryl Hall in his prime. “The River st. Blues” is ten Swedish songs, like an American graffiti on a wall of sound.

Moon Safari is a unique band that comes from Skellefteå, Sweden and was formed in 2003. Their first album A Doorway To Summer (2005) was produced by the Flower Kings keyboard player Tomas Bodin and this new album Himlabacken Vol. 1 (2013) was mixed and mastered by The Flower Kings bass player Jonas Reingold. The musical backing has a strong orchestral flair.

Berthold Heinrich Kämpfert, (16 October 1923 – 21 June 1980), better known as Bert Kaempfert, was a German orchestra leader, music producer, and songwriter. He made easy listening and jazz-oriented records and wrote the music for a number of well-known songs, including "Strangers in the Night" and "Moon Over Naples". Kaempfert was born in Hamburg, Germany, where he received his lifelong nickname, Fips, and studied at the local school of music. A multi-instrumentalist, he was hired by Hans Busch to play with his orchestra before serving as a bandsman in the German Navy during World War II. He later formed his own big band, toured with them, then worked as an arranger and producer, making hit records with Freddy Quinn and Ivo Robić. In 1961, he hired The Beatles to back Tony Sheridan for an album called My Bonnie. The album and its singles, released by Polydor Records, were the Beatles' first commercially released recordings.
