In December 1979, Eric Clapton toured Japan, making a stop at Tokyo's Budokan, where the results were taped and released as the double-album „Just One Night“. For this tour, Clapton's back-up band included regular Joe Cocker keyboardist Chris Stainton and famed English country picker Albert Lee. The set list ignored any history of the legendary guitarist's work as a band member, instead focusing on either solo material or blues favorites.

Yvonne Elliman had a brief moment in the spotlight during the middle of the '70s, yet she appeared on many of the decade's biggest hits as a backing singer. While she was in high school in Hawaii, Elliman sang in a group called We Folk. She moved to London in 1969 and began singing at the Pheasantry folk club, located on Kings Road in Chelsea. It was here that songwriters Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice discovered her. The duo offered her the role of Mary Magdalene in their new rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar.

Just One Kyoto Night is a 2015 Eric Clapton 2CD bootleg of a show recorded in Kyoto, Japan at the Kyoto Kaikan Daiichi Hall on 26 November, 1979. It is an excellent sounding audience recording. The cuddly bear that made this possible is Paddington.

In the town where country music was born where two states come together on one street a spark lit and a duo was ignited. At the 2012 Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, on the way to take the stage with his band, Sol Driven Train, guitarist/singer Joel Timmons found himself sidetracked by Della Mae, an all-female, GRAMMY-nominated bluegrass band. It was that group's bass player, Shelby Means, who most captivated his attention. After a conversation at the merchandise table about their shared love of travel and music, two-years passed before Means and Timmons would reconnect. A bold love song led the way, and eventually a growing romance turned into the Nashville-based duo Sally & George and their debut album tip my heart.
