Suss'd's overhaul of the Salsoul catalog results in another necessary release. Here, First Choice gets double-disc treatment that provides both the single edits and well-known extended mixes of the biggest hits, including "Doctor Love" (present on the second disc in the form of a Tom Moulton mix), "Let No Man Put Asunder" (the Shep Pettibone mix is included), and "Love Thang" (overhauled by the late, great Tee Scott). It wouldn't be possible to release a better compilation of the group's Salsoul years, though the set has the disadvantage of not being able to cover their earlier years, when they were releasing gorgeous singles like "Armed and Extremely Dangerous," "Smarty Pants," "The Player," and "Guilty."

People's Choice, despite high acclaim within Philly Soul, R&B, Funk and Disco circles are among the most underrated of the soul groups that found their home at P.I.R. Unlike many of the acts championed by Gamble & Leon Huff, People's Choice were a self-contained outfit performing on the Philly scene since the 60s. Led by Frankie Brunson, the group was formed out of R&B act The Fashions. After nine R&B hit singles including 'I Like's To Do It' and 'Do It Anyway Ya Wanna', and two hit albums, the group released 'Turn Me Loose' in 1978.

This volume presents interviews that have been conducted from the 1980s to the present with important scholars of social choice and welfare theory. Starting with a brief history of social choice and welfare theory written by the book editors, it features 15 conversations with four Nobel Laureates and other key scholars in the discipline.
