Scary Movie Pentalogie (2000 2013)

Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000–2013 is a compilation album by punk rock band Rise Against. It is composed of B-side tracks, covers, and rarities. The songs range from 2000 to 2012. It was released on September 10, 2013 via Interscope Records.

US band Product is a collaboration between Arman Christoff Boyles (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Scott Rader (drums, Bass). They hooked up in Los Angeles in 1990, but it wasn't until 1999 that they had finalized plans for the creation of a series of concept albums; utilizing the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water as inspirations as well as historical figures. The debut album "On Water" was issued in 2000, and the series continued with "Aire" in 2003, "The Fire" in 2005 and finally "Earth" in 2008. Based on the life of Harry Houdini and his interaction with the spiritualist movement, "Aether" (2013) is the fifth concept album by Arman Christoff Boyles and Scott Rader.

Although this instrumental fusion band has been around since 1992, they only released their first album eight years later and, my oh my, was it ever worth the wait! Imagine King Crimson, UK, The Mahavisnhu Orchestra and early Jean-Luc Ponty all rolled into one plus some discrete traditional Japanese references. Powered by the violin, KBB's music is dynamic, playful, intense and complex, yet melodic and surprisingly accessible. The band includes an exceptional violinist named Akihisa Tsuboy who also plays cellolin and guitar in addition to composing most of the material. The other members are keyboard player Toshimitsu Takahashi, bassist-guitarist Dani and drummer Shirou Sugano. All four musicians are extremely proficient.

This Deluxe Edition includes three previously unreleased concerts on 3 CDs and 2 DVDs with full liners notes and extensive photos. This compilation captures something truly unique. It contains a wonderful glimpse at the evolution of a performer… a look at an artist in three distinct phases of his career; the runaway rampant energy of the first big success, the confident virtuosity of one who's ridden the wave and continued to move forward, and the professionalism of a seasoned vet delivering a stellar performance through exhaustion and illness - winning the crowd and leaving them wanting more. The shows are presented as they were performed, live without the aid of studio gimmicks. Spanning eleven and a half years, they cover very different periods in the history of the Jeff Healey Band, 1985, 1995 and 2000.

The trio formed in the fall of 1998 out of the ashes of local indie rock bands the Impossible 5 and Coulour, with singer/guitarist Simon, bassist Steve Kille, and drummer Mark Laughlin. The three members set out to fuse their love of early-'70s hard rock and '60s psychedelia with their love of fantasy and horror writers J.R.R. Tolkien and H.P. Lovecraft. In 1976, director Brian De Palma had already established a reputation as a cult director of such films as Greetings, Hi, Mom, and more importantly, Sisters, Phantom of the Paradise, and Obsession. But it was his film of Stephen King’s classic, best-selling first novel, Carrie, that would catapult him into major director status. Many directors have tackled Stephen King, including King himself, all to varying degrees of success, but Carrie is the film that leads the pack.
