Sinner's Blood Dark Horizons

Three Colours Dark - the new project from Rachel Cohen - singer/songwriter (Karnataka & The Reasoning) + Jonathan Edwards - musician/songwriter (Panic Room, Luna Rossa & Karnataka). The album features 9 original songs and a haunting cover of the Richard Thompson classic Ghosts In The Wind. Rachel and Jon are joined on the album by multi-instrumentalist Tim Hamill and special guests Dave Gregory (XTC/Big Big Train), Steve Balsamo (ChimpanA/The Storys), trumpet player Nathan Bray (Paloma Faith/Mke Rutherford) and others. Musical influences from Prog to Folk and Jazz to Pop blend seamlessly with the duo's own unique sound.

Since the end of the last decade, James Blood Ulmer has been involved in a conscious investigation of the blues as a force for reinvention. On various labels and with a varying group of musicians, Blood has fused, melded, and strained the genre through everything from funk to psychedelic rock and jazz with mixed but always provocative results. Guitarist and producer Vernon Reid has been a constant on Ulmer's last two offerings: 2001's Memphis Blood: The Sun Sessions and 2003's No Escape from the Blues: The Electric Ladyland Sessions. The quest continues on Birthright, and in some senses the stakes are even higher because this is a completely solo recording. Reid produces but doesn't perform. Although Dark Tranquillity's albums have tended to be fairly similar to one another, Projector finds the group attempting to broaden their horizons a bit, taking more chances, and more often than not, succeeding. The group in general sounds more mature, and the high level of musicianship is unimpeachable.

“Video” is the third chapter of the Swedish act Fans Of The Dark, an exciting new band formed in 2020 by Freddie Allen, drummer and main songwriter and lead vocalist Alex Falk, when they reconnected few year after the high school, where they went together, with a vision to create a band which would mix the melodies and approach of classic and melodic rock. Their musical output continue over the path of their first two albums and “Video” is one of the most exciting things you'll hear emerging from the fruitful melodic rock in Sweden, showcasing a tight, inventive musical approach with outstanding vocals.
