Silver Trumpet is the 1975 album by Czechoslovakian trumpeter Juraj Lehotský. This was released in his home country on the Opus label and is a vinyl rip, made by Antiquar.

Probably writer-director Peter von Bagh's masterpiece in the documentary genre, a personal love letter to the city of Helsinki as it once was and as it might have been, taking the form of a collage of film clips, photographs, paintings, song and music fragments, quotations from Finnish writers and von Bagh's own musings, read by himself and the actors Erja Manto and Sulevi Peltola.

When Juraj Stanik asks you to write something for the sleeve of his new recording, you certainly don't say 'no'. In my case, bolstered by years of experience of his work, from the outstanding group 'Five Up High' through to his trio CDs like 'Shaken not stirred', 'Wow' and 'Inside out'. It always was and still remains a great pleasure to listen to Juraj. His playfulness with musical forms, his unexpected, funny but always controlled fantasies and that consistent, unmissable swing with his colleagues on bass and drums, all following the same groove. Jazz that I always regarded as a sort of homecoming.

All of the main Led Zeppelin biographies state how important these series of gigs were for the success of the group with the public and their acceptance by the music industry. On the same bill with Taj Mahal and headliners Country Joe And The Fish, the initial scheduled called for two sets on January 9th, 10th, and the 11th but a final night was added on. The opening show coincided with Jimmy Page’s 25th birthday and the final night was when their debut album Led Zeppelin was released in the US. The tapes from these shows began to surface back in the days of vinyl but Scorpio is the first to present them in one cohesive set. The audience recordings are fair to good but given the historic importance, are more than acceptable and reveal a fascinating chapter in the band’s live history.
