Mojo Music Guide Vol. 3: Raw Soul is a compilation CD released in 2004 as part of the March 2004 issue of Mojo magazine. Highlights include tracks by Ray Charles, The Isley Brothers, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding and many more.

Mojo presents James Brown's Funky Summer is a compilation CD released in 2006 as found within the August 2006 issue of Mojo magazine. It features various songs from the James Brown family as well as a rap song from American rapper Braille.

Mojo Presents Rebel Music is a compilation CD that was a part of the November 2008 issue of Mojo magazine. Subtitled Songs Of Protest And Insurrection, the core of this collection is The Clash and it shows some of their influences over the years.

Big Daddy Magazine presents The People's Champion Volume 2: The Back Breaker is a 2001 compilation CD released in the UK from Big Daddy magazine. The magazine catered to deep soul, funk, and music of that ilk and some of these songs are exclusive to this comp, which came free with the 9th issue of the magazine.

Mojo presents Studio One Selector is a 2005 compilation CD released by the British music publication Mojo magazine. This is a great CD that came with the March 2005 issue of Mojo featuring music produced by the late Clement "Sir Coxsone" Dodd. The music here is presented in conjunction with Soul Jazz Records.

This is issue #2 of D-ROM, a CD-ROM publication that came with issues of DJ Magazine. It is enhanced with programs and featured a demonstration video witjh Tony Vegas but it was also an audio CD, the highlight being a 25 minute mix featuring DJ Vadim and DJ Primecuts. The rest of the tracks are excerpts. Only the lossless version features the enhanced portion of the disc.

Experienced! is a 2006 compilation CD that serves as a sampler for Mojo magazine for the November 2006 issue. It honors the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix by featuring cover versions of songs by artists of different genres.

Classic Pop: 12 Inch is a 3CD compilation set released in 2016 by Classic Pop magazine. Each song are the original 12" single mixes for your dance floor enjoyment, focused on the era the magazine regularly covers, primarily the 1980's.

From Washington DC, Bobby Thurston originally started singing whilst still at high school. After graduating he landed a job with the US State Department. “I’ve been there thirteen years, ever since I left school and I have to stress that without that job to fall back on, none of what I'm doing now could have been possible,” he told Blues & Soul magazine at the time. “In fact, it was through the job that I first got started. One of the guys that I worked with when I first got started had a brother who was starting a group and they wanted me to act as a sort of roadie. Gradually I progressed into doing some background work and playing percussion - that was when we started the group Spectrum LTD. We’ve been together ever since, ten years in fact.”
