Guitarist and composer Zacc Harris, named City Pages 2017 Twin Cities Best Jazz Artist, is most known for his work with acclaimed group Atlantis Quartet, winners of the 2015 McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians, as well as the Zacc Harris Group. City Pages says, "In the 12 years since he first moved to Minnesota from southern Illinois, this remarkably fluid guitarist has positioned himself at the center of the Twin Cities jazz world." Harris has toured throughout the US and UK, and released or performed on more than two dozen records. He was awarded the 2016 Minnesota Emerging Composers Award from the American Composers Forum.

One of the most lauded and award-winning groups in gospel music, garnering five GRAMMY® nominations, two GRAMMY® Awards and 18 Dove Awards, these GMA Hall of Fame members headline one of the largest tours in Christian music annually. Kris Kristofferson has complained that no album he released after 1972's Jesus Was a Capricorn was given any promotion, and 1974's Spooky Lady's Sideshow is the first record that falls into that category. If his statement is true, it is understandable why Monument Records would have refrained from a major campaign on behalf of the album. Record companies tend to reserve their greatest promotional effort for developing artists who show commercial promise, expecting established artists to fend for themselves. And at the time of the release of Spooky Lady's Sideshow, the company probably considered Kristofferson an established artist; after all, two of his last three albums had gone gold, and he had hit number one in the country singles charts the year before with the gold-selling "Why Me" while at the same time topping the country albums charts twice, with Jesus Was a Capricorn and his duo album with Rita Coolidge, Full Moon.

In 1949, Hank Snow began recording in the States, and his third session included I’m Moving On. The original version is here, as well as great early hits like The Golden Rocket, The Rhumba Boogie, Down The Trail Of Achin’ Hearts, Bluebird Island, Music Makin’ Mama From Memphis, A Fool Such As I, The Boogie Woogie Flying Cloud, When Mexican Joe Met Jole Blon, The Gold Rush Is Over and I Don’t Hurt Anymore. The early Jimmie Rodgers tribute cuts are here, as well as his first instrumental recordings. Hailed by critics, fans (and Hank himself!) as essential.
