A Better Tomorrow (Chinese: 英雄本色; Mandarin Pinyin: Yīngxióng běnsè; Jyutping: Jing1 hung4 bun2 sik1; literally "True Colors of a Hero") is a 1986 Hong Kong action film which had a profound influence on the Hong Kong film-making industry, and later on an international scale. Directed by John Woo, it stars Chow Yun-fat, Ti Lung and Leslie Cheung. Although the movie was made with a tight budget and was relatively unknown until it went on screen due to virtually no advertising, it broke Hong Kong's box office record and went on to become a blockbuster in Asian countries. It is highly regarded, ranking at #2 of the Best 100 Chinese Motion Pictures. Its success also ensured the sequel A Better Tomorrow 2, also directed by Woo, and A Better Tomorrow 3: Love & Death in Saigon, a prequel directed by producer Tsui Hark.

Four versions of the same story, first in the perspective of a theatre play, second in the perspective of a silent film, third in the perspective of a film of the 50s and finally in a biblical philosophical perspective.

The time is the Russian Revolution. The elite Cosmo Academy attracts applicants from every stellar nation in the galaxy. One young hopeful is Tadatos Lane, an orphan esper from Terra. The final stage of the academy's entrance exam is a perilous mission simulation aboard an actual derelict starship. The applicants depart for the ships in groups of ten, but when Tada's crew arrives on the Esperanza, they are horrified to discover that they now number eleven. As the test progresses, things go awry and the atmosphere grows increasingly tense. The crew members begin to suspect sabotage, and Tada appears to be the likely culprit.

Widely considered to be one of Queen's finest live performances, this concert is from the band's 1986 Magic Tour. Regenerated and reinvigorated by their triumph at Live Aid almost exactly a year earlier, the band were on a 26-date tour of the UK and Europe and after a month out of the country returned home to London to play two defining concerts at the "place of champions," Wembley Stadium. These were to be Queen's biggest dates ever - the biggest stage, the biggest lighting rig, the biggest screen that not only Queen had performed with, but also that Wembley Stadium had ever seen. Filming it involved 15 cameras and a helicopter to capture aerial shots.
Mémorable concert donné à Wembley, à Londres, durant l'été 86 devant 150.000 fans électrisés. Il fallait bien ce concert pour restituer, sinon la magie, au moins toute l'emphase et l'ampleur du groupe de Freddie Mercury sur scène. Prématurément décédé du sida, ce dernier n'imaginait probablement pas quel destin serait réservé à certains de ses hits.
