Originally released in 1979, "Art of the Acoustic Steel String Guitar 6 & 12" was Robbie Basho's 15th record, and his magnum opus of solo guitar. It is the culmination of his life's effort to usher guitar music into a new artistic paradigm, and to "establish the steel string as a concert instrument indigenous to America."

Celebrating Minnie Riperton’s 70th birthday, UMe to release ‘Perfect Angel: Deluxe Edition,’ the definitive two-CD version of her breakthrough album co-produced by Stevie Wonder, featuring the immortal hit “Lovin’ You”, with a lot of bonus tracks.

By 1987, the Grateful Dead had lived many of their nine lives but were about to embark on one not a soul had seen coming.
