This session with Jimmy Bond and Albert “Tootie” Heath was Nina Simone’s first recording ever. Made when she was 25-years old, it was a huge success and led to a tremendous career which would produce more than 80 studio sessions. After making these tracks, Simone would not record again for two years, finally returning to the studios for a 1959 New York date with a large orchestra directed by Bob Mersey. Simone would only record again with Jimmy Bond and Al Heath during a 1959 concert at Town Hall.

Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section, originally released in 1957, features Pepper's legendary sessions with the East Coast rhythm section for Miles Davis's quintet. Produced by Lester Koenig and engineered by Roy DuNann, this STEREO edition features all-analog mastering from the original tapes and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl housed in a tip-on jacket.

Beach Boys' Christmas Album features the Beach Boys performing a variety of holiday favorites. Most of the featured songs are well-known, some of the more popular being "Frosty the Snowman," "White Christmas," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," and "I'll Be Home for Christmas," among others.
