While known by some for his producing, programming, and writing work in the pop and electronic realms, English musician Henry Jackman is best known for his output as a film composer. Although Jackman was nominated for a BAFTA Award in 2014 for the biopic Captain Phillips, he is most associated with the action and animation genres. His alternately whimsical and dramatic, rousing scores have included such global box-office hits as 2012's animated featured Wreck-It Ralph, 2016's Joe Russo and Anthony Russo-helmed Marvel film Captain America: Civil War, and 2019's family adventure Pokémon Detective Pikachu.

Swedish progressive rock legends The Flower Kings, and longtime label-partners Inside Out Music, will begin an extensive reissue campaign in 2022, which will see the entire catalogue of the band reissued on CD & Vinyl in remastered editions, with it being the first time many of the albums have been available on wax. ‘Stardust We Are’ was the band's third studio album, and first double-album. It features the epic 25-minute title track which has since become one of the bands signature songs.

Esoteric Recordings is pleased to announce the release of ‘Rollin’’, a new box set featuring all of the albums recorded by The Steve Gibbons Band released between 1976 and 1978. This legendary rock band was formed in the mid 1970s and comprised some of the finest musicians on the Birmingham rock scene.Steve Gibbons had been a figure on the Birmingham scene since the early 1960s and had been a frontman of the group The Uglys until they disbanded in late 1968. In 1969 Gibbons founded the group Balls with Trevor Burton and Denny Laine, but that group fell apart within 14 months before Gibbons to join the last incarnation of The Idle Race in 1971. This line-up, which also featured Dave Carroll and Bob Wilson on guitars and Bob Lamb on drums eventually evolved into The Steve Gibbons Band with the arrival of Trevor Burton on bass and vocals. Burton had been a member of The Move until 1969 and was a member of the group Balls. With this line-up in place, the band perfected their hard, driving blend of rhythm and blues and rock, touring the pub and club circuit in Britain. In 1975 they were spotted by Peter Meaden (The Who’s first manager) and were soon signed to The Who’s management stable.

This recording of Handel "Theodora" features a truly star-studded cast, with Lisette Oropesa in the title role. Joyce DiDonato as Irene, Michael Spyres as Septimius, John Chest as Valens and Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian as Didymus. Following great critical acclaim for recent performances in Europe and DiDonato's performance at the Royal Opera House earlier this year, this new version of the dramatic oratorio is accompanied by Il Pomo d'Oro orchestra and choir, conducted by Maxim Emelyanychev.
