A Tiny House, In Secret Speeches, Polar Equals marks the return of Sweet Trip, 12 years after the release of their third album, You Will Never Know Why. In usual Sweet Trip fashion, "Secret Speeches" was created out of the blue; nothing planned, not even a sense of direction. Instead, songs poured out with strong emotions and pure love, which dictated every note, every beat, every wash of sounds that adorns this new work.

Matthew Sweet played in bands in Athens, Georgia as that scene exploded, collaborating with R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, playing in Linda Stipe’s Oh-OK, and The Buzz Of Delight. That work scooped him up into the major label world making countless acclaimed solo records, forming the supergroup The Thorns with Shawn Mullins and Pete Droge, and beginning a series of covers albums with The Bangles’ Susannah Hoffs. Now, it’s time for Matthew to just plain rock out by himself again.

On her newest album, "Bluer Than Blue," Sweet Megg combines Nashville musicians with early jazz players from the roster of Turtle Bay Records artists. The band's style is relaxed and convivial, using elements of both styles, and the solos flow together without any stylistic conflict. The repertoire was pulled equally from jazz and country standards, with one new song co-composed by Megg and Justin Poindexter. While the general mood of the album is joyous and upbeat, most of the lyrics are about heartaches, which explain the album's title.

Sidney Matthew Sweet is an American rock singer-songwriter and musician. He was part of the burgeoning music scene in Athens, Georgia, during the 1980s before gaining commercial success in the 1990s. "100% Fun" is his fifth album. The album was met with moderate commercial success and favorable reviews. The single "Sick of Myself" reached #2 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and appeared on the top 100 pop song charts of the day. Critic David Browne of Entertainment Weekly, who included 100% Fun on his year's-best list, wrote in his review that it "makes you feel as if a good pop hook can solve any crisis". The title of the album was derived from Kurt Cobain's 1994 suicide note.

"Relentless" is the hotly anticipated sophomore album from the new metal project Sweet Oblivion which showcases former Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate.

"I’m born in 1979 and have been playing and creating music since ever since I picked up an acoustic guitar at the age of 7 and at the same time I discovered rock n’ roll, which led me to join numrous rock bands as a teenager. After graduating from a music high school, I studied webdesign and programming for two years and later on joined the sleaze metal band CRASHDÏET in 2002. This has been my main profession ever since. On the side of that, I create t-shirt designs, lyric videos, websites and more for other bands as well as my own."

"Wicked System of Things was written and recorded very quickly in early 2017. It was partly inspired by a show I had played with Cheap Trick in January. After the show, Tom Peterson (who I’ve known for a long time) and I had discussed he and Rick Nielson playing bass and guitar on something of mine, and needless to say I was giddy about the idea! With this in mind I immediately started about a week of writing, then recorded drums with Ric Menck, and even though it never worked out for the Cheap Trick guys to play on the record (we both had new albums and extensive touring coming last summer) I quickly finished up the project playing bass myself, with Jason Victor playing most of the guitars…"
