Trio Zeliha

Music above all else. This is the credo that governs the artistic life of Trio Zeliha. With this first album Manon Galy, Maxime Quennesson and Jorge Emilio González Buajasan would certainly have delighted Verlaine. The soul of this trio is forged from the grace of perfectly complementary gifts; these ‘serenaders’ will surely move ‘lovely listeners’.

After their first album dedicated to early trios, the Trio Zeliha uses its ardour and spontaneity to serve two monuments of the repertoire. In short, two radically different languages, but the same intensity pervades the recording from start to finish, uniting in a single breath Schubert’s nostalgic serenity and the raspy darkness of Shostakovich.

Manon Galy and Jorge González Buajasán - residents of the Singer-Polignac Foundation as part of the Zeliha Trio - have released their first duet record, after their victory at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition in 2021.
