This series discovers remarkable trees emblematic of Europe through the singular relationship that men have with them. The series draws a new map, revealing a Europe rooted in its soil, its history, its legends and speaking without knowing a common language: that of these remarkable trees that embody the present, both in its past and future.

Henri de Régnier (1864-1936) serait un écrivain presque oublié aujourd'hui si Bernard Quiriny ne lui avait, en 2013, consacré un essai qui donne envie de retourner vers son œuvre. En particulier vers ce singulier recueil de trois nouvelles dont deux se déroulent à Venise. Elles sont pleines d’une rêverie dont l’objet est presque indéterminé. Elles mettent en scène des collectionneurs, des antiquaires, des érudits dans le décor de maisons anciennes chargées d’un passé mystérieux.

A l'heure des écrans en tous genres, faire écrire le jeune public représente un vrai challenge. Comment transmettre le goût de l'écriture aux enfants et adolescents ? Stéphane Bern tells the story of King Louis XVI, deposed by the revolution and guillotined on January 21st, 1793. He was a cultured man, passionate about the technical advances of his time, but powerless against the huge deficit in the country. He actively supported the birth of the USA. Louis XVI was the last king to live in the palace of Versailles, where he organized the first flight of a balloon, launched the legendary expedition of Jean-Francois de La Perouse and offered his wife Marie Antoinette, the beautiful setting of the Petit Trianon, as million visitors around the world continue to admire.
