After more than 20 years of band history, "One Last Night - live at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg" is the last album by the ECHO-winning David Orlowsky Trio with David Orlowsky (clarinet), Jens-Uwe Popp (guitar) and Florian Dohrmann (contrabass). David Orlowsky is considered "one of the most extraordinary clarinettists of his generation" (Jazzpodium). With his trio and a unique mix of classical, klezmer and jazz, Orlowsky has set standards in the classical music world. Its unique style is the trio itself once called »Chamber. World. Music ". In their compositions Orlowsky, Popp and Dohrmann re-explore the genre boundaries of classical music, klezmer and jazz, interweaving influences from the pop and music of the Near East. Among the pieces are four musical tributes to original compositions, including the Klezmer pieces "Lebedig un Freylach / Odessa Bulgar" and "Donna Donna". The 2020 deluxe edition features Pete Townshend’s remix of Beads On One String plus The Who Live at Kingston, a special acoustic performance recorded on 14th February 2020, recorded 50 years to the day since the seminal Live at Leeds show.
