1000 Masterpieces. Frank von Stuck's work is oriented towards Art Nouveau and represents the transition from 19th-century painting to modernism. Like Lenbach, Stuck often worked with photographs: his 1906 painting "Salome" is based on three photographic portrait studies with a model in the costume of Herodias' daughter.
