The Beatles Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 7 (1990)

Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 5 is a 1989 bootleg CD by The Beatles. After the success of the first two installments of Ultra Rare Trax, The Swingin' Pig released more editions. For Vol. 5, the label released it by mixing the masters using NoNoise, a noise reduction process that helped to eliminate tape hiss. Some collectors thought it was great while others didn't like it, believing the system may eliminate more music than tape hiss.

Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 2 is a 1988 bootleg CD by The Beatles. The Orb virtually invented the electronic genre known as ambient house, resurrecting slower, more soulful rhythms and providing a soundtrack for early-morning ravers once the clubs closed their doors. Frontman Dr. Alex Paterson's formula was quite simple: he slowed down the rhythms of classic Chicago house and added synth work and effects inspired by '70s ambient pioneers Brian Eno and Tangerine Dream. To make the whole a bit more listenable – as opposed to danceable – obscure vocal samples were looped, usually providing a theme for tracks that lacked singing.

Ultra Rare Trax is a 2000 bootleg compilation by British breakbeat group The Prodigy, credited on the CD as simply Prodigy. It features a number of rare tracks, including prime remixes and live material.

Some can argue that "Strawberry Fields Forever" is the most important rock song ever written. It is certainly one of the most influential, breaking the boundaries of what a pop song can achieve going past even what The Beatles achieved on Revolver. We have been blessed, going back to the days of vinyl, to have working takes from EMI studios to track the progression of the development of the song. They surfaced on vinyl on Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 1 on Swinging Pig (TSP 001) and have been featured on countless compact disc reissues including Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 1 on The Swingin' Pig (TSP-CD-001), Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 4 on The Swingin' Pig (TSP-CD-026), Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 3 on Yellow Dog (YD003.). In 1999 Vigotone released the John Barrett tapes on Turn Me On Dead Man (VIGO-178/179). In 1997 It's Not Too Bad was released by Pegboy (1008) which revealed twenty additional mintues of "Strawberry Fields Forever" outtakes dating from its initial conception in Spain in 1966 and Lennon's Kenwood home before going into the studio.
