“A Midsummer Night's Dream” was born in Rome; it was autumn of the year 1978. After ten years of perfecting and revising the score throughout the various voyages of this show to more than ten countries, covering all continents, I conceived the definitive album of "Dream" with Luca Mainardi during the autumn of 1987 in Barcelona and then it was put together under the general production of Giulio Cesare Ricci in January 1988, in London. It was then a process of recapturing the best moments, ideas and remnants of recordings and voice-over effects from the past, mixed with other totally new for the first and last time. The Peppermint Trolley Company are quintessentially '60s Southern Californian, capturing the soft fallout of folk-rock and psychedelia, all wrapped up in the studio gleam of Hollywood. Tinsel Town played a large role in the group's existence as they became best-known as the singers of the theme songs for the Brady Bunch and Love, American Style, gigs they received because they had a sweet commercial sound that should have hit the Top 40 even if it never did (the closest they came is with the minor hit "Baby You Come Rollin' 'Cross My Mind," a bubblegum spin on Glen Campbell). The Peppermint Trolley Company's problem wasn't a lack of good collaborators - on their eponymous 1968 debut, Chad Stuart of Chad & Jeremy, provided arrangements, Roger Nichols appears on his song "Trust" - or a dearth of material but that they lacked a strong identity, too easily moving from lite psychedelia to gently rolling folk-pop…

This project was carried out in London in July 1988 at the Artaud Theater of the Institute of French Culture. The recordings were made by Giulio Cesare Ricci assisted by Bé Yamamura, whom I would also like to thank on behalf of Carlos for his commitment at all times, technically, humanly and for the valuable advice without which we would not have reached this result. All sessions were recorded live with 4 Neumann tube microphones, 2 main M-49 and 2 ambience M-47.

The Original Bad Co. Anthology is a compilation album released by Bad Company in 1999 on Elektra Records. This album marks Bad Company's first new songs since 1982 to feature original lead singer Paul Rodgers. In addition to the classic hits, it also features six B-sides and outtakes. Technical information was retrieved from the 1999 Edition released by Elektra Records. Most songs on this album were previously released on Swan Song Records. The tracks "Tracking Down A Runaway", "Ain't It Good", "Hammer Of Love", and "Hey, Hey" are new recordings made for this compilation. There is a notable omission of "Electric Land", "Gone, Gone, Gone", and "Young Blood", which were fairly big hits with Rodgers.
