OUTLOUD began with Greek guitar player Tony Kash taking lessons from Firewind’s Bob Katsionis. They began to write songs together and in late 2007 / early 2008, started to solidify these ideas into an album format and eventually got in touch with NYC-based singer Chandler Mogel, who Bob had met previously on a Firewind tour of the States.

German act ARGOS initially started out as a solo project by multi-instrumentalist and composer Thomas Klarmann, an experienced musician who started out in prog and fusion bands in the 70's. He abandoned the progressive part of the music scene more and more as time went by though, concentrating on jazz, but when he discovered the new progressive movement in the mid 90's spearheaded by acts like Flower Kings and Spock's Beard, the passion for making and performing progressive music returned as well. A chance meeting with Robert Gozon eventually lead to the formation of Superdrama, a four man strong band still active. Klarmann wished to explore a broader style of music than what he could do in this band though, and started composing songs for a solo project in 2005.

Peepshow is the ninth studio album by English alternative rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, released in September 1988 on Polydor. It was their first record as a quintet. With the arrival of multi-instrumentalist Martin McCarrick, the group recorded a multifaceted album with a variety of influences. Including the singles "Peek-a-Boo" and "The Last Beat of My Heart", the record was a commercial success, peaking at No. 68 on the Billboard 200 chart in the week of 3 December 1988. It spent a total of 20 weeks on that chart. Peepshow was widely acclaimed by critics. Praise centred around the unpredictability of the orchestrations and new nuances in Siouxsie's voice.

Accolades aside, Peter Karp is a storyteller who also happens to be an assertive singer, an insightful songwriter, a spellbinding performer, and a searing slide guitarist. Fortunately, those distinctions aren’t mutually exclusive. Nor is it a contradiction to call Karp both a master of the blues and an Americana aficionado. In Karp’s case, all these threads are bound tightly together.

Wishbone Ash are a British rock band who achieved success in the early and mid-1970s. Their popular albums included Wishbone Ash (1970), Pilgrimage (1971), Argus (1972), Wishbone Four (1973), There's the Rub (1974), and New England (1976). Wishbone Ash are noted for their extensive use of the harmony twin lead guitar format which had been attracting electric blues bands since Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page had played together in the Yardbirds in 1966. Their contributions helped Andy Powell and Ted Turner to be voted "Two of the Ten Most Important Guitarists in Rock History" (Traffic magazine 1989), and to appear in the "Top 20 Guitarists of All Time" (Rolling Stone). Melody Maker (1972) described Powell and Turner as "the most interesting two guitar team since the days when Beck and Page graced The Yardbirds". They have been cited as an influence by Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris, as well as Thin Lizzy and other dual guitar bands.

"Walls" debuted at #12 on the US Billboard 200, and opened at #6 on the UK Albums Chart, selling 15,604 copies and giving Streisand her 36th Top 75 album and 15th Top 10 entry in the United Kingdom. In Australia, "Walls" debuted at #7 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
