Few front men can claim to have had such a lengthy and far-reaching career as Graham Bonnet; first finding fame as part of The Marbles, enjoying a hit with the Bee Gees’ ‘Only One Woman’ in 1968; a solo career across the 70s; further success with the Bee Gees’, and the disco flavoured ‘Warm Ride’. But Graham found what was possibly his greatest success replacing Ronnie James Dio in Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow for 1979’s “Down To Earth”, and the worldwide hit singles ‘All Night Long’ and ‘Since You Been Gone’. Solo success beckoned with ‘Night Games’ and the “Line-Up” album in 1981, before briefly joining The Michael Schenker Group for 1982’s “Assault Attack”.

Admittedly, there was a plethora of bonus tracks on the past re-issues, but it appears there was a lot held back. this release is full of them. The majority of which come from the No Parole For Rock ‘N’ Roll era with that young upstart, Ynqwie Malmsteen. Compilation contains highlights from No Parole and Live Sentence. The No Parole demos, which are included as bonus tracks, didn’t appear on the re-issue for some reason, but the inclusion of Yngwie performing the track S.O.S as his audition is superb. The Best of Alcatrazz has the highlights from Disturbing The Peace and Dangerous Games. Disturbing The Peace has the fretboard wizard, Mr. Steve Vai yet it’s Dangerous Games that gets the bonus tracks.

Chicago returned from a career dip in 1982 with "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" and continued to hit with power ballads, among them "Hard Habit to Break" and "You're the Inspiration," all sung by Peter Cetera. But the streak continued after Cetera departed in 1985, as Jason Scheff stepped in and Chicago went on to score hits like "Will You Still Love Me?," and "Look Away," which are all heard here.
