A World War I British Army patrol is crossing the Mesopotomian desert when their commanding officer, the only one who knows their destination is killed by the bullet of unseen bandits.

Employing a sinister blend of goth-metal and dark industrial rock, Germany's Lord of the Lost was founded in 2007 by vocalist/guitarist Chris Harms, who had previously fronted Hamburg-based gloom-rockers Philiae. The group released its first studio LP, Fears, in 2010, with Antagony arriving the following year.

Lord Of The Lost return with their seventh studio album Judas (via Napalm Records) and, as usual, act completely liberated from musical shackles and genre boundaries. With this polished and detailed release, which was conceived as a double album from the beginning, the five musicians cement their outstanding position as exceptional artists and climb to the next level with their most innovative and mature release to date, which doesn't want to fit into any pigeonhole. In Keith Billington’s The Last Patrol, he shares one of the most tragic stories of the far north. It was a quiet December morning in 1910 when Inspector Fitzgerald and his crew left Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories, on a dog team patrol to Dawson City, Yukon.

This double CD of Pentangle's BBC recordings is comprised primarily of rare and previously unheard tracks. From 1968 to 1973 Pentangle were prolific session guests on BBC radio, their unique fusion of sounds providing access to programmes covering folk, pop and progressive rock. When BBC cupboards were trawled for these recordings in the early nineties they were almost bare - a mere handful of tracks survived in the tape archive (released on the band of joy/strange fruit labels). Here at last, with previously unreleased songs among classics from all six of their albums, is a representative history of the Pentangle at the BBC. The accompanying 12 page booklet includes comprehensive liner notes, a full discography of Pentangle's BBC recordings, and several rare photographs.

An acoustic trio, the Lost Fingers were based in Quebec City, Canada, and were known for their love of classic gypsy jazz and '80s pop hits. Their shows were a blending of both – seemingly disparate – styles, seeing the band cover hit '80s tunes as well as playing homage to such jazz legends as Django Reinhardt. Their reputation and skill won them a great many fans very quickly, and the group was to be found not too long after forming, playing some of the world's best-known festivals, including a ten-night stand at the Montreal Jazz Festival.

Also relevant variations of known Beatles compositions, improvs, jams, and cover versions performed by the group
that were never included in any studio album or single. Many of these tracks come from demos, home recordings, rehearsals, etc, so the original quality is low. In this album we try to improve the audio quality as much as possible, recovering audio drops, fixing technical problems, recording failures and so on. Software tools have been used to clean, remaster and enhance the tracks, without ever losing the fidelity to their originals. Short and unfinished songs were sewn into each other, with soft transitions, resulting in a more consistent track. Overdubs and collages were all extracted from original Beatles material, from their period of activity (1958 to 1969). With 'The Lost Album II' we conclude the series of all unpublished Beatles material.
