Though its few best tracks may alone be worth the price of admission to serious fans, The View From the Hill mostly showcases some of Moody Blues vocalist/guitarist Hayward's worst excesses. The album opens with the engaging "I Heard It," and a catchy number whose electronic flourishes recall the Moodys' "Your Wildest Dreams." Up next is the album's clear highlight – the ethereal, hypnotic "Broken Dream," which boasts a flamenco-spiced guitar and a prominently mixed vocal that ranks with Hayward's finest. But The View From the Hill is mostly downhill from there.

John Lodge: Live From Birmingham – The 10,000 Light Years Tour features Lodge’s final performance on his first-ever solo tour for his album 10,000 Light Years Ago, which took place in his hometown of Birmingham in 2016. Roger Dean created the artwork for this project, some 40 years after he created the artwork for Lodge’s first solo album, Natural Avenue.

Chuck Brown created Washington DC's Go-Go sound in the early '70s and scored his biggest hit with Bustin' Loose in 1978, sampled in Nelly's smash 'Hot in Herre' in 2002.
