Where in their account of Palestrina’s Missa Aeterna Christi munera Summerly’s group are restrained in their devotional manner, this celebrated Mass for Christmas has them joyful and exuberant. The choir, over 30 strong, brings out both the beauty and the drama of the writing, and equally so in the brief motet setting the Christmas works. The magnificent Stabat Mater is wisely given to a smaller group of 16 singers, two to a part, with added clarity in the complex polyphony. Well coupled with one of Lassus’s best-loved Masses, Palestrina’s close contemporary from Flanders, this CD represents the work of two supreme polyphonic masters who died in the same year.

"Mick" Fleetwood is a British musician and actor, best known for his role as the drummer and co-founder of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood, whose surname was merged with that of John McVie to form the name of the band, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. "Something Big" is the fifth album by Mick Fleetwood, released 28 September 2004. The album features a number of guest musicians, featuring Fleetwood Mac's John McVie and Jeremy Spencer, and singer-songwriter Jackson Browne.

Folkloric Moods is a collaboration between the composers of the Big Band of Jyväskylä and the soloists of the album Elena Mîndrun and Tuomas J. Turunen. The album combines the compositions of Mîndrun and Turunen with the musical vision of the Big Band of Jyväskylä into a magnificent whole. Some of the material on the album was originally commissioned as part of JBB's First Concert Series. The music has inventively used different spices, combining beautiful Finnish landscapes with Romanian folk music. The combination of the cultural influences of two different countries explores jazz tradition from a contemporary perspective.
