"A Bit of Liverpool" is the 3rd studio album by The Supremes, released in the fall of 1964 on the Motown label. It was produced by Berry Gordy with Hal Davis and Marc Gordon doing the mixing. The Supremes performed The Beatles' "Eight Days a Week" on several television shows including Shindig and Hullabaloo, though the song did not make the album. The album just missed the Top 20 in the U.S., peaking at #21. While not quite as prolific as their pop counterparts at that time, The Beatles, The Supremes enjoyed three albums charting simultaneously in 1964–1965. For its release in the UK, the album was titled "With Love (From Us to You)".

Three Day Week is the fourth compilation album curated by Saint Etienne’s Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs. This time they’re concentrating their efforts on 1972-1975 when Britain was a bloody miserable place to be (Apparently, I was a carefree baby). There were some lovely sounds though, and this eclectic mix exists to show you just that. Features tracks from Mungo Jerry, The Kinks, Hawkwind, The Strawbs, Adam Faith, David Essex, The Troggs and more.

"On this concert film we have tried to cover a good selection from Pink Floyd's oeuvre, performed with our newly redesigned light show. However there's so much that Pink Floyd wrote and many of their songs are simply so long that we can only present a selection of their total output. We hope that our choice includes much of their very best work. Thinking of ways to present the music the show has evolved over the years - from the choice and creation of visual projections, sometimes touching on more up to date political events which we believed to be in keeping with some of the Pink Floyd themes found in their work to the complex task of creating a special effects light and laser show working with some very talented and able individuals in the field who have contributed their skills and ideas to develop the show.

Eugene Istomin (1925–2003), one of America’s most respected pianists, was highly esteemed by audiences and colleagues alike for his mindful virtuosity and unusually wide-ranging repertoire. 2015 marks Istomin’s 90th birthday year, a milestone that Sony Classical celebrates with the first-ever release of his complete Columbia Masterworks concerto and solo recordings in a limited original-jacket collection including 10 previously unreleased studio recordings. Many of these performances appear in their first authorized CD editions, including the 19-year-old pianist’s recorded debut in Bach’s D minor Concerto led by Adolf Busch; his youthful concerto collaborations with Pablo Casals; Chopin’s complete Nocturnes; Brahms’s Handel Variations; Schubert’s D major D 850 Sonata, plus the long-out-of-print Rachmaninoff 2nd, Tchaikovsky 1st, Brahms 2nd, and Beethoven 4th and 5th (“Emperor”) Concertos with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Newly remastered from the original analogue tapes, the discs are presented in facsimile sleeves and labels corresponding to the original LP releases.
