The Black Callon

The adventures of two federal agent men Agent Kay and Agent Jay also known as "The Men in Black," who keeps an eye on aliens in New York City must try to save the world after the aliens threaten to blow it up. Jay and Kay's mission is to foil the plot by tracking down the terrorist, thereby preventing the earth from being destroyed.

The Black Crowes are an American rock group formed in 1989. The band has sold over 30 million albums, and is listed at number 92 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock". They were also labeled by Melody Maker as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" and the readers of Rolling Stone voted them 'Best New American Band' in 1990…

Intégralement composé d’archives inédites, le documentaire « Black Power Mixtape » donne un éclairage rafraîchissant sur le mouvement Black Power et son histoire. Le réalisateur Göran Hugo Olsson y fait apparaître les grands axes de ce mouvement précurseur – mais sous une forme très originale : à la manière d’une « mixtape », il allie la bande-son d’alors et des voix connues d’aujourd’hui. Les images qu’il utilise ont été tournées par une équipe suédoise en voyage aux Etats-Unis à la fin des années soixante. Un regard extérieur complètement nouveau, qui ouvre des perspectives insoupçonnées. Les interviews enregistrées tout récemment avec des protagonistes d’alors et d’aujourd’hui font découvrir sous un jour nouveau l’histoire et l’importance de cette lutte des noirs pour les droits civiques. On voit intervenir des piliers du mouvement tels que Stokely Carmichael et les fondateurs des Black Panthers Bobby Seal et Huey P. Newton. Les archives sont enrichies par les commentaires de stars d’aujourd’hui, comme Erykah Badu.
