Pike Cavalero introduces his newest reference, ‘Three Chords & the Truth’, released by Sleazy Records. This album continues the way of ‘Spring is in the air / Tack-Tack boogie’, the advancement single that this south-east of Spain rocker published last year. Like that one, this Long-Play has been produced by Mario Cobo, who has added more personality, if possible, to the sound of a musician who uses to search carefully in the oldies trunk.

The album was produced and written by Van Morrison (except for 'If We Wait for Mountains' which was co-written with Don Black). It features contributions from legendary guitarist Jay Berliner and a duet with The Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley ('Fame Will Eat the Soul').

Featuring both hard-driving, soulful traditional bluegrass and old school honky-tonk country, James King's Three Chords and the Truth is a landmark album in an already outstanding career. Complemented by his harmony partners, Dudley Connell and Don Rigsby, King s vocals effectively serve the power and majesty of these songs, which range from cult classics to old C&W favorites. The back-up is provided by a dream team, with Josh Williams on guitar, Jimmy Mattingly on fiddle, Ron Stewart on banjo (and occasional harmony fiddle), and Jesse Brock on mandolin.
