Thunder

Vocalist Danny Bowes and lead guitarist Luke Morley first played together when they were 15-year-old classmates in London. The two later formed the band Terraplane, and released two albums but broke up in 1988. Bowes, Morley, and drummer Gary "Harry" James then formed Thunder, recruiting bassist Mark "Snake" Luckhurst and rhythm guitarist Ben Matthews.

Ireland is a Revue show that combines 10 years of Celtic Thunder hits and focuses on their most popular songs of the last decade, their Irish and Celtic fan favorites. Drawing from their most popular Television Specials of Celtic Thunder – The Show, Mythology, Legacy and Celtic Thunder X, Celtic Thunder Ireland features the songs and performances that launched Celtic Thunder into the hearts of Public Television viewers across the US. Memorable moments include their unique take on beloved Irish classics “Danny Boy” “She Moved Through The Fair” and “Caledonia”, their inspiring anthems of “Ireland’s Call’ and “My Land” and their fun upbeat numbers such as “Star of the County Down” “Seven Drunken Nights” and “Place in the Choir”. The wonderful arrangements of the ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder Ireland reflect the power of the soloists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

Celtic Thunder is back with a compilation of classic and modern hits! The tracklist includes romantic American standards I Want to Know What Love Is, Nights in White Satin (Moody Blues), (Everything I Do) I Do it For You and modern favorites I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) and When I Was Your Man (Bruno Mars). The group celebrates their Irish roots with renditions of The Boys Are Back In Town (Thin Lizzy) and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, made famous by Irish rockers U2.

CELTIC THUNDER X, a show to celebrate 10 Years of Celtic Thunder with a fantastic mix of both traditional and contemporary Irish Songs, Classic Hits, Love Songs, Nostalgic Songs and Fun Retro Songs from the soundtracks of viewers lives. With 26 new songs producer Sharon Browne has bought back the magic that turned Celtic Thunder into a household name in 2008.
