On An Evening of New York Songs and Stories, Vega revisits some of the most iconic songs in her repertoire as well as more hidden gems in a stunning live recording on which she is backed by longtime guitarist, Gerry Leonard, bassist Jeff Allen and keyboardist Jamie Edwards. The album was produced by Gerry Leonard, mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer Kevin Killen and mastered by Grammy Award winner, Bob Ludwig.

X: The Godless Void and Other Stories appeared at a timely point in …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead's career. It arrived six years after the release of 2014's IX, during which time Conrad Keely returned from Cambodia to the band's home base of Austin, Texas, and also coincided with their 25th anniversary. It makes sense, then, that their tenth album finds them taking stock. As …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead explore how people become more themselves over time while everything else changes, they deliver their most emotionally direct music in quite a while. Their need to follow their hearts – even if they get a little broken along the way – has dominated their music since Source Tags & Codes, and the tension between cathartic freedom and poignancy is as powerful on X: The Godless Void and Other Stories as it was on that landmark album.

Five years on from the release of their previous record, Austin’s beloved art-rock heroes …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead return with their tenth album – X: The Godless Void and Other Stories.

Director Sam Eastmond composed and arranged these works for the 15-piece big band Spike Orchestra, as he examines the power and magic of words through stories, splintered and fragmented through resonance and dissonance, merging influences, styles and instrumental colors over four expansive works yielding inspired moments in orchestration and soloing.

Chie Ayado japanese singer, pianist, actress. Ayado has been working with her own bands since the 1990s, with which she recorded a number of albums for the Japanese labels Sound Factory and East Works. She worked i.a. also with Junior Mance and Calvin Hill.

Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is the only studio album by Anglo-American blues rock band Derek and the Dominos. Released in November 1970, the double album is best known for its title track, "Layla", and is often regarded as Eric Clapton's greatest musical achievement. 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition contains the original album and a bonus disc containing out-takes, both sides of a rare non-LP single produced by Phil Spector and the band’s complete performance on The Johnny Cash Show from November 1970 (featuring guest appearances from Cash and Carl Perkins on Perkins’ own “Matchbox”). The rest of the disc is devoted to sessions from the group’s aborted second LP, newly remixed for this edition.

This new compilation aims to bring together fan favourites from the run of concerts held in recent years, including live staples such as ‘Eyes of Blue’ and ‘Satisfy My Soul’ along with classic cover versions of ‘Into The Mystic’ and ‘(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want To Be Right’.
