"Blood Red Roses" is the 30th studio album by British singer-songwriter Rod Stewart. It was released on 28 September 2018 through Decca Records and Republic Records. It was produced by Stewart and Kevin Savigar.

For long-time fans of the The Who acquainted with the less-than-stellar audio quality of bootlegs that have circulated over the years, this two-CD (and three-vinyl LP )fiftieth-anniversary set Live at the Fillmore East 1968 will no doubt be a revelation. Those more casual followers who may only know of the iconic British group as of their widespread commercial breakthrough in the form of Tommy (MCA, 1969) will quite possibly be more astonished-and on multiple fronts-hearing the quartet's stage show before the rock-opera became its focal point.

"Give Up" is the only studio album by American indie band The Postal Service, released on February 19, 2003 through Sub Pop Records. The band began as a side project between electronic music artist Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab for Cutie's vocalist Ben Gibbard. The two had previously worked together for a track on Dntel's album Life Is Full of Possibilities.

"Resistance Is Futile', the band's 13th studio album, heralds a return to a classic Manics sound described by the band as ""widescreen melancholia"". The songs on the album are the first recorded in the band’s new Door to the River studio (near Newport). Of their first new recordings in four years, the band said: ""The main themes of ‘Resistance is Futile’ are memory and loss; forgotten history; confused reality and art as a hiding place and inspiration.

Formed in Tokyo in 1981, ANTHEM turned heads with their intense and heated performances. They released their major debut, »Anthem” in 1985 and continued to tour relentlessly. The band's popularity grew with the release of their 2nd album, »Tightrope« (1986), and they were able to break into the American market with their 3rd full length, »Bound To Break« (1987). Vocalist Eizo Sakamoto left shortly after, and was replaced by Yukio Morikawa for »Gypsy Ways« (1988) and »Hunting Time« (1989), both extremely successful releases which cemented their reputation as leaders of Japanese traditional heavy metal.
