Zane Grey and Len Ron Hanks were songwriters and producers from Chicago. Like their Philadelphia contemporaries McFadden & Whitehead, they stepped into the studio as recording artists in the late '70s to capitalize on their success and the vast popularity of the day's Soul and Disco sound. On these two albums recorded for RCA, their sole output as artists, they combine their studio skills with a display of Zane Grey's formidable vocal prowess atop a congregation of the finest musicians in the genre (including Earth Wind & Fire" on hits "Dancin'" and "You Fooled Me"). "Speeding Time" is an album by American singer-songwriter Carole King, released in 1983. King's 13th album in 14 years, "Speeding Time" was poorly reviewed and was her first album not to chart. Following the album's release, King did not record again for six years.
