Tommy Emmanuel, Stochelo Rosenberg & Vlatko Stefanovski Kings of Strings: Live in Belgrade (2023)

Vlatko Stefanovski was born in 1957 in Prilep / Macedonia in a theatrical family. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. In his late teens he formed the group LEB I SOL which became one of the most important names in the music scene of former Yugoslavia. LEB I SOL had released 14 albums and had toured around the world. Since the mid- nineties Stefanovski has developed a very successful solo career. He has recorded remarkable solo releases, like Cowboys & Indians, Sarajevo, Vlatko Stefanovski trio, Kula od karti, Thunder from the blue sky etc. The collaboration with Miroslav Tadic, on the albums Krushevo, Treta majka, Live in Belgrade, and Live in Zagreb put a new light on Vlatko’s acoustic guitar work, and his further exploration of the Macedonian traditional music.

The rock supergroup consisting of Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen release “Live in Rio”, including a music video for “Raise The Dead”. In 2015, the Hollywood Vampires not only released their first album, but also played one of their biggest concerts, which will now be released as their first live album. After this success and the media interest in the ultimate rock group, sold- out concerts and tours all over the world followed and in 2019, finally, the second album “Rise”.

Back in the '70s, a group of rock & roll carousers called themselves the Hollywood Vampires as they crawled the bars of Los Angeles during the dead of night. Alice Cooper was at the forefront, joined by Harry Nilsson, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon, and Micky Dolenz – a crew so soused that their tales became legend, even if the specifics of the debauchery were often forgotten. Forty years later, Alice Cooper revived the name Hollywood Vampires when he formed a classic rock supergroup with Joe Perry and Johnny Depp.

In 2023, Big Big Train were rapturously received by audiences across the UK and Europe, concluding the tour with two triumphant appearances at London’s Cadogan Hall. ‘A Flare On The Lens’ features the band’s full show at Cadogan from the second of their two nights there last year and also includes seven songs which were played only on the first night. 'A Flare On The Lens’ is the sight and sound of Big Big Train back on an upwards curve and re-establishing itself as one of the rock music scene’s most compelling live bands.
