Dig deep enough inside yourself – start treating your body as your sanctuary rather than your enemy – and eventually you'll find yourself blooming right back out into the sun. That's the transformation Guerilla Toss trace on their newest album Famously Alive, their effervescent Sub Pop debut. After a decade sprinkling glitter into grit, building a reputation as one of the most ferociously creative art-rock groups working, the upstate New York band have eased fully into their light. This is Guerilla Toss at their most luminescent – awake, alive, and extending an open invitation to anyone who wants to soak it all up beside them.

Harmonic Oasis (2002). In February 2002 Kevin Wood released his debut CD, "Scenic Listening". Each song on this album takes you to a different setting, such as a cathedral, a mountainside, a waterfall, etc. "Scenic Listening" earned the #4 top-album on the NAV Airwaves Chart, and is now licensed with Orange Music under the revised title name, "Harmonic Oasis". "Harmonic Oasis" stimulates the senses with artfully woven tribal grooves, Gregorian chants, and beautiful melodies. Rich string harmonies and fluid piano conjure vivid images and lush mindscapes.
Sacred (2006). Gregorian Chant, Native American voices, and various world vocals are artfully woven to create a rich tapestry of music that channels the wisdom of the ages. Let the rhythms, the beautiful melodies, and the ancient voices transport you to a place of wisdom, peace, and sanctity - to a place that is truly… Sacred.

By the late '70s, Ayers was faced not only with the problem of increasingly redundant material, but also with the fact that the audience for his brand of weirdo progressive rock was shrinking precipitously, making him sound not just repetitious, but dated. There are still some good moments on this album - the chamber music arrangement of "Strange Song," the brief burst of singalong nonsense called "Hat Song." But it's one of his more faceless efforts, with anonymously laidback arrangements that are more prone to swirling keyboards than much of his previous output. And a song like "Beware of the Dog" is so meandering in its attempt to be likably weird that it's virtually meaningless.

Though Emmy-nominated composer Kevin Kiner is best known for his suspenseful, rousing orchestral scores for several Star Wars animated spin-off series, his franchise contributions range from Star Trek (Enterprise, Deep Space Nine) to Tremors (TV's Tremors, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection), and James Bond (video games GoldenEye 007, 007 Legends). He first broke into television in the mid-'80s and had written for series like Superboy and Land of the Lost by the time he made his big-screen debut with the horror film Leprechaun in 1993. Kiner established his presence in the sci-fi genre by the late '90s, including music for TV's Stargate SG-1 and the game-inspired film Wing Commander. His Star Wars franchise debut arrived in 2008, as part of the original crew for the animated series The Clone Wars; he stayed with the show through its final season in 2020. In the meantime, Kiner earned his first Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series for Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018) and began work on Star Wars: The Bad Batch in 2021.
