Drive is a 2003 album by British musician Robert Palmer and his fourteenth solo studio album, and his last album before his death. Drive was critically hailed as the grittiest and most heartfelt album of his career. Initially approached by guitarist Carl Carlton to contribute to the 2001 Robert Johnson tribute album Hellhound on My Trail, for which Palmer recorded "Milk Cow's Calf Blues" with Carlton on guitars, Palmer was then invited by Faye Dunaway to provide the soundtrack to her 2001 directorial debut The Yellow Bird, set in Mississippi and New Orleans during the 1940s and 1950s. Palmer took both signs as a good omen, and the impetus for Drive was born.

Real Gone Music again proves a godsend for Dusty Springfield fans. In 2015, they released Come for a Dream: The Complete U.K. Sessions 1970-1971 that gathered 17 tracks from From Dusty with Love (A Brand New Me's British title) and 1972's See All Her Faces. Faithful: The Lost Atlantic Album, produced by Jeff Barry, appeared a year later. While A Brand New Me has been pored over for decades by fans and critics, and all but one of these cuts have been released on various compilations, they have never been assembled complete in one volume until now.

Includes benchmark tracks by the scene's most influential bands plus many rare singles making their first appearance on CD. This five CD includes influential NYC bands - Patti Smith Group, The Ramones, Television, Blondie, The Voidoids, etc. - as well as the scene's other pioneers such as Pere Ubu and The Dead Boys (both Cleveland, Ohio), Dead Kennedys and Crime (San Francisco), Devo (Akron, Ohio), The Germs and The Weirdos (Los Angeles) and Mission of Burma (Boston, Massachusetts). Eat the Low Dogs is a beautifully dark and medicating record that fewer ears will hear than it deserves. It rocks, laments and hollers from the mountainous region of Marion, North Carolina with an enduring gloom that feels archaic and steadfast throughout. The old-timer influences are vast, but U.S. Christmas’ old/new merged sound is unified and deliberate: Hawkwind, Neil Young and slow-burn sludge metal such as Neurosis or Isis with their amps to eleven all play a role in U.S. Christmas’ composite sound which is less sinister as it is somber. The muddling of genres results in a drug-addled state of alternating between southern rock, psych outbursts and old-fashioned country…
