World's Greatest Ukulele Stylist is a 1962 album by ukulele player Don Baduria. While it is said he is not Hawaiian but a Filipino musician, his playing stood out for those who wanted to discover the sounds of a land that had just been turned into the 50th state in 1959. This explores his style of playing, where he does a few traditional songs, Pacific favorites and a few American standards although the album's opening song exploits the country's brand new space race exploration. This instrumental album was released by Bertram International and is a vinyl rip.

Singer and guitarist Joe Brown demonstrates his supreme uke skills on this definitive album. The deluxe edition features new studio recordings not found on the original album and comes with a special live CD.

The Finnish tango is known for its melancholia and its longing.
Ukulele Alakulo (alakulo = melancholia) contains seven classical Nordic tangos, which I have arranged for ukulele, trying to put to use all of the instruments expressive possibilities. With this record I would like to prove that my little, fragile instrument is very well suited for tango music.

Giovanni Albini (b. 1982), composer, ukulelist and music theorist, is a tenured professor of Music Theory, Solfège and Music Perception and head of research at the Conservatory “Antonio Vivaldi” of Alessandria (Italy), where he also teaches the first Italian ukulele university class. He also teaches Composition at the Conservatory of Lugano (Swiss Confederation), and is an academic member of the Istituto di Studi Superiori dell’Insubria “Gerolamo Cardano”.
He has composed several concert music scores that have been performed by international soloists, ensembles, and orchestras around the world (Europe, USA, Canada and Japan), as well as many tracks for video art, exhibitions, multimedia, commercials, trailers, videogames and television. His music has been recorded in monographic albums and collections and published by Brilliant Classics, Da Vinci Publishing, and Stradivarius.

And when she starts to play her ukulele, it's clear that this oft-ridiculed cousin of the guitar is neither prop nor gimmick, but a delightful and under-utilized musical instrument. Amy Kucharik is a ukulele-slinging singer-songwriter based in Somerville, MA. The 2015 Kerrville Grassy Hill New Folk winner explores the full range of her instrument's capabilities as a tool to convey a complex array of subjects and moods: Whether humorous, topical or intense, she steers listeners away from the ukulele's perception as a twee novelty. At the same time, Amy wants her audience to have a good time, and her performances are infused with Vaudevillian charm and an infectious, danceable swing. Her music draws from a range of influences including blues, ragtime jazz, folk, pop and country… as well as aesthetics garnered from film and literature. Amy's catchy, sexy, sometimes haunting songs recount tales of reluctant love, heartbreak, revenge, and grit.

1000 Hands: Chapter One is the fifteenth studio album by English singer-songwriter and musician Jon Anderson, released March 2019. The album originates from sessions for a project to have been called Uzlot (a northern English pronunciation of "us lot") that Anderson had been recording in Big Bear, California, with Brian Chatton in around 1990. Anderson asked his then Yes bandmates Chris Squire and Alan White to play on the project too. At the time, Yes were preparing for a tour and Anderson put the master tapes in his garage and, as he has recounted, gave them very little thought for many years. In 2016, producer Michael Franklin contacted Anderson about using the tapes and finishing an album. Further recordings followed at Solar Studios in Orlando, Florida. Along with some newly written material, the final result is 1000 Hands.
