New title in the excellent value "Booksets" range. These are limited edition, multi-CD sets packaged in DVD sized Ecol-books, containing the contents of rare, expensive & hitherto unavailable box sets. Finally, EL&P has a retrospective to match the band's music. 5 CDs, basically chronologically arranged. The set includes unheard mixes and an excellent unreleased 'Tarkas'-era track that would have benefitted that album greatly. After a raft of chances missed where presenting the 'band that never ends' were concerned, the record label has, as this review's title says, at last made up for it all. Anyone hearing these CDs will be unable to laugh at the band or take them lightly. Emerson, Lake and Palmer truly were the greatest progressive act on earth. And, now, here's the proof.

EMI Classics is pleased to release the 10th annual 3CD set of highlights from the Progetto Martha Argerich in Lugano, “the delightful festival where youth meets experience and both benefit” (Gramophone). The Times described Argerich’s Lugano Festival as “community music-making on a deluxe scale, with performers and listeners mutually uplifted by music’s wonders”. The set is being released in anticipation of the Festival’s 2013 season. Reviewing the 2011 Live from Lugano release, Nicholas Kenyon wrote in The Observer, “There are not many reliable annual treats among classical CDs these days, but the series of live recordings from Martha Argerich's Lugano festival are now a highlight of each year.”

There is so little professionally shot video footage of Roy Buchanan officially available, that this frustratingly short half-hour set is a major find for the late guitarist's devoted fan base. Recorded November 15, 1976 when he was 37, the Austin City Limits DVD doesn't add extra footage to what was originally telecast, and is one of the few ACL videos not to do so…

International Magic Live at The O2 is the debut video album by English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Released on 13 October 2012, the album documents the band's performance at The O2 Arena in London on 26 February 2012, as part of their High Flying Birds Tour.

Swedish vocalist Vivian Buczek has been on the Scandinavian jazz scene for over a decade, releasing her first album, Can't We Be Friends (Skandia Music) in 2003. Live At The Palladium is her fourth solo album, though she's also recorded with the Artistry Jazz Group. The Palladium in question isn't the world- renowned London theatre, it's the one in Buczek's home town of Malmö, but this concert sparkles with such energy and vivacity that it could readily have graced the venue's more famous British counterpart.
