This is a documentary about the Finnish-Soviet Winter War (Talvisota) of 1939-1940. It contains rare and never before seen footage from the official film archives (Sota-arkisto) of the Finnish army. The Winter War was a military conflict between the Soviet Union (USSR) and Finland. It began with a Soviet invasion of Finland on 30 November 1939, three months after the outbreak of World War II, and ended three and a half months later with the Moscow Peace Treaty on 13 March 1940. The League of Nations deemed the attack illegal and expelled the Soviet Union from the organisation.

When the original score to Rain Man finally received it's world premiere release in 2010, fans were elated that the much requested, Oscar nominated music by one of the world's premiere film composers, Hans Zimmer would finally be out on CD. Once we saw that the score was available to license, we at Notefornote Music decided to reissue this fixing the one glaring issue that fans had with that release, sound quality. Taken from a pristine digital source and tapes we had found at MGM, we feel this is the best representation of Hans Zimmer's wonderful score to Rain Man. One thing we respect is a great score and this is definitely one of the great ones of the 1980s. This has been a labor of love and we hope you agree.

In 1986 and 1987, Jürgen Böttcher and his crew travelled to Georgia to film this fascinating country and its people. Böttcher, the painter, was particularly interested in the art of Georgian painter Niko Pirosmanishvili whose oeuvre he had seen in an exhibition in Berlin 20 years ago. Although it was clear for him that times had changed, he reckoned that some of the atmosphere depicted in Pirosmanishvilis paintings should still be there.

Viva Santana: An Intimate Conversation with Carlos Santana is a video documentary originally released in 1988 to coincide with the 2CD compilation of the same name. It contains audio commentary spread throughout this 83 minute program, consisting of performances from television and film. It is an English documentary, with a few songs performed in Spanish. This is taken from the 2006 DVD released by Columbia Music Video.
