V.a. – Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001)

The original soundtrack of the 2001 movie film, directed by John Philip Madden and which had for music with composer Stephen Warbeck, with whom he had worked successfully. Warbeck shows his musical mastery of the setting of the romantic drama, recording a successful theme 'Pelagia's Song', which develops at different times of the BSO with Italian and Greek musical influences. The mandolin is a principal instrument, played by the great instrumentalist Giovanni Parricelli. Warbeck also inserted several passages of some classical compositions. Romantic music framing a sentimental story in a Mediterranean atmosphere.
