The version of Foghat's "Slowride" is in the single edit while the mix of Alice Cooper's "School's Out" features an ending that is different from other versions.

Kill Rock Stars is one of three compilations released by the Olympia, Washington-based Kill Rock Stars label. Released in 1991 as the label's first release, this is the first compilation of the series. Highlights on this includes exclusive material by Nirvana, Melvins, Bikini Kill, Steve Fisk, 7 Year Bitch, Mecca Normal, and many more.

Pop & Rock: 50 Hits From The Early Years is a 2CD compilation released in 2014 by Wagram. It focuses on the roots of rock'n'roll and what became a style of music to swag and swim into.

Mega Rock Ballads is a 2CD compilation released in 2016 y Sony Music of Taiwan. It's oddly titled considering many of the songs are not ballads (i.e. Electric Light Orchestra's "Don't Bring Me Down") while a few are not exactly rock (i.e. Sly & The Family Stone's "I Want To Take You Higher"). One thing is for certain: all 36 songs on this are mega!

Hard Rock Essentials: The 80's is a 1994 compilation of some of the best hard rock songs of the 1980's but are they limited to just songs released by the PolyGram family? No but most of it is PolyGram/Universal oriented. This was released by the PolyGram budget compilation subsidiary, Rebound.

Guitar Rock was a compilation series put together by Time-Life Music in association with Warner Special Products and this is the 1968-1969 installment. All of the songs are original hits by the original artists, just listen.

Nostalgia: Rock And Roll Hits is a 2000 compilation featuring songs from the beginning of rock and roll, a mixture of rock and R&B. It is believed this comes from either a compilation called Nostalgia or an illegal label called Nostalgia.
