A murderous bank robber on the run from the law hides out in a small town, where he gets a job as a cab driver. He meets a young girl who is caring for her ill but wealthy aunt. He courts her and they eventually marry. She soon discovers exactly who he is, and finds herself enmeshed in a scheme involving murder and loot from a bank robbery.

A stripper/fortune teller uses a magical Haitian amulet to keep young, and in so doing forces others to kill for her.

Diana Borden (Doris Lloyd, a bleeding-heart rich-girl, returns from a trip to Russia filled with sympathy for the "little" people of the slums and wants to do "something" artistic and socially significant for them…so she opens up a nightclub atop a 100-story skyscraper. For her, that means acts such as opera singers, extracts from "Hamlet" and three sailors imitating a giraffe.

While on the brink of a military confrontation with China, Air Force One crashes in the desert, killing the President. This brings Vice-President Kermit Madigan to power who, having been left in the dark by the president, must now rely on his predecessor's aides to guide him. But they have markedly different viewpoints and hidden agendas.

A mysterious man, Suba, gets himself a job at a fencing academy, and as he learns the way of the students, the school, and its maestro, they learn that there's more to him than meets the eye. He gains (or regains?) his fencing skills and his philosophy of teaching clashes with the maestro's.

An older doctor in a rural area takes on a younger physician as his partner. When the older doctor's wife is found murdered, the man becomes the chief suspect, especially when he suddenly disappears. His new partner doesn't believe he did it, though, and sets out to find the real killer.

Lem Schofield practices law in a formerly small-town that has grown to be an industrialized big city, He bases his ideals on the examples set by Abraham Lincoln and never waivers in them nor his sense of justice for the poor. His deceased partner's son, Clay Clinton, in love with Schofield's daughter, Judith, joins the firm but is anxious for quick success and considers Schofield's old-fashioned law offices out of step with the times.

Jennifer, an intelligent but insecure 14-year-old student at a boarding school, seduces her married dormitory counselor, a photographer who has offered to teach her about his art and winds up shooting her in the nude.

The partner–and best friend–of a tough New York detective is murdered by killers working for a local mob. Infuriated at the inability of the Police Department to bring in the murderers, he decides–with the help of a few of his fellow detectives–to operate on his own, using whatever means necessary, to destroy the gang.
