"Venus in Overdrive" is the 14th studio album by rock musician Rick Springfield. According to an interview that Springfield gave to the website Songfacts, the title track was written about his wife, Barbara Porter, whom he married in 1984. The album spent two weeks on Billboard's album chart.

Here She Comes Now/Venus In Furs is a split 7" 45 rpm single between grunge rockers Nirvana and Melvins. Released in 1991, it originally was done to support the Velvet Underground tribute album on Imaginary Records called Heaven And Hell. Melvins were the band that partly influenced Kurt Cobain to start his own band so it made sense they would join forces. Nirvana's cover of "Here She Comes Now" is traditional while Melvins' rendition of "Venus In Furs" is primarily not. This single was released by The Communion Label.
