Rather depressing Turkish movie that details a impoverished father trying to make a better life for his son. He decides to move himself and his son to Instanbul to try to eke out a living so that the father can afford an education for his son and yes, buy a horse. Things of course do not go so well for him, as he is forced to become an illegal street vendor, stay in squalor, and try to enroll his son into school, even though the state run school has strict requirements about getting in….

Jimmy O'Brien (Robert Lowery)and Sammy Rubin (Sidney Miller), write jingle commercials for radio, and meet Mary Adams (Dona Drake), who wants to break into radio as a soloist for a band. The pair take a recording of Tommy Taylor's band and make a a record with Mary doing the vocal.

Zissos and Apostolos are two Greeks who live in a city in the Ottoman Orient at the turn of the 20th century. Like some original sin, a load of gold sovereigns will lead them to travel and adventure and from there to their physical and spiritual deadlock.
