Despite the covid situation, it was possible to record the CD that has been released as Jazzing 11 vol. 1 as part of the 2020 Jazzing Festival.However, Joan Chamorro, director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, took advantage of the situation and recorded different rehearsals with small groups at the Jazz House, headquarters of the SAJB. They will be released as Jazzing 11 vol. 2 and Jazzing 11 vol. 3.Finally, it was possible to perform within the framework of the Barcelona Jazz Festival 2020, a concert that was also recorded and that will be released as Jazzing 11 vol. 4.

Cellist Sara Sant'Ambrogio says ''Before I knew language, I knew Bach'' referring to her earliest memories of growing up in a house full of classical music. A founding member of the Eroica Trio, with recordings on Angel/EMI Classics, Sant'Ambrogio has been profiled in Strings, Strad, Gramophone, and more. She performs on a Matteo Goffriller cello, Venice, ca. 1715. Sara earned rave reviews for her earlier Bach CD (Cello Suites, 1, 3, & 5), and these recordings are even better.

Most of Sara Sant'Ambrogio's recordings have been as cellist with the Eroica Trio, but she takes on the odd numbers of J.S. Bach's Six Suites for unaccompanied cello in this 2009 solo outing, and it's an ambitious undertaking. This album faces comparisons with several great recordings of the suites, and this young cellist likewise faces scrutiny for playing works associated with such names as Casals, Fournier, and Rostropovich, past masters of the instrument.

‘What’s cooking?’ Even musicians from times gone by used to ask that question, as they dived into the reality in which they lived, inspired by the past. Born out of my curiosity, in an extremely multiethnic period in which fast food globalization seems to ‘dominate’ I have strived to retrace a ‘tonicity’ (which almost acts as a food supplement) of some local ingredients which are particularly dear to me.
