Silhouette Moon is the second album from the UK prog-rock collective known as Vienna Circle, and follows their 2009 debut White Clouds. The band play a lush, melodic neo-prog style not unlike acts such as Pendragon, IQ, and Marillion, and throughout this latest CD they do a superb job of contrasting atmospheric, often times pastoral musical settings with more aggressive passages that remind of Porcupine Tree and even a slightly less thunderous Dream Theater. It's a nice balance of styles that gives the album some great dynamics and keeps the listener on their toes.
Fall, Alps, tradition. Cold stone loves the red leaves covering its paths. Since their first line up in 2017, Insubria always aimed to move away from the European Folk Metal criteria and clichés. Pagan and Celtic themes have left room to the imagery of their homeland: The Alps, their primary inspiration. Welcome to the Alpine lands. Harvest Moon is a concept EP about the Pillars of Folklore. The 5 piece work tells about what Heritage, Environment, Legacy and Nature means for the Band. It is an intimist vision about present and past. A vision about purposes, inner self and mistakes.
