Richmond, Virginia's MUNICIPAL WASTE will release its sixth album, "Slime And Punishment", on June 23 via Nuclear Blast Records. Ryan Waste states: "We've been getting punished for the last five years by people asking for a new album. Now we're here to return the favor with an aural onslaught of speed metal punk. Enjoy a taste of slime courtesy of the WASTE." "We're sorry this took so long," comments vocalist Tony Foresta. "That was our bad. It feels good to be back musically kicking you in the balls… and or titties." "Slime And Punishment" is the first WASTE album to be engineered by bassist Phil "Landphil" Hall at Blaze of Torment Studios in Richmond, Virginia. Mixing and mastering was completed by Bill Metoyer (SLAYER, W.A.S.P., LIZZY BORDEN and DARK ANGEL) in Hollywood, California.
“Another year, another Nightwishcore release,” one is tempted to think at the sight of Lost in Grey…
The solo No Time to Waste was released on Nu Groove/ Sony / BMG / Records in October of 2007. Brown’s skills as a guitarist, composer, producer and arranger were revealed for the first time. Brown's long-time friend & producer Gerald Mitchell of Los Hermanos helped him achieve a sound targeted for Smooth Jazz listeners as guitar and saxophone leads were equally balanced. The album was created with the Smooth Jazz listener in mind and it balances equally between guitar and saxophone leads.
Undisputed masters of the crossover genre, Richmond, Virginia's Municipal Waste return with their fifth full-length album in their endless quest to bring the fury, bring the laughs and bring the party to obscene new lows. Tasked with the noble aim of spreading the shred, 'The Fatal Feast' is the most complete album the band have recorded. More bang, more intensity and a rounder sound make this not only the perfect party record, but also a natural fit for their epically ridiculous live shows. This digipak edition adds bonus track "Eviction Party"!
13 heartfelt songs exploring the concepts of love and loss, life and death, time and space. Influenced by the sounds of 80's bands like Tears for Fears and A-Ha, 70's prog from The Doors and Pink Floyd as well as such staples as the Beach Boys and the Beatles, 'A Waste of Time & Space' also takes cues from the 60's race for space, Geoffrey Household's 1939 thriller 'Rogue Male' and the Large Hadron Collider. Although a couple of the songs were written over 20 years ago, the majority of 'A Waste of Time & Space' was recorded and mixed at Radiogram in Bath, UK between April 2016 and June 2018 by duo Jon Birch and Si Bright. Listen out for sounds of the sitar, a volcano erupting, Sputnik's beep and the un-licenced use of a Marvel character.
