Fresh off the release of Medicine At Midnight earlier this year, Foo Fighters have announced their next studio effort. However, the band’s 11th album won’t be another bevy of alt-rock tunes, instead, the Dave Grohl-led outfit will take a hard detour into the world of disco. The next album by the Foo Fighters will come in the form of a Bee Gees cover album entitled Hail Satin and released under the monicker Dee Gees.

Recorded at its namesake the Saint Cecilia Hotel in the midst of the band's two headline sets at this year's Austin City Limits festival, Foo Fighters' five-song Saint Cecilia EP is both a scrapbook of nearly forgotten moments in the band's 20-year odyssey and a heartfelt thank you to the legions of FF faithful who have made that journey possible.

"In Your Honor" is the fifth studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters. It is a double album, with one disc containing heavy rock songs and a second disc with mellower acoustic songs. Frontman Dave Grohl decided to do a diverse blend of songs as he felt that after ten years of existence, the band had to break new ground with their music. 'But Here We Are' is in nearly equal measure the 11th Foo Fighters album and the first chapter of the band's new life. Sonically channeling the naiveté of Foo Fighters' 1995 debut, informed by decades of maturity and depth, 'But Here We Are' is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years previously, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.

Though not a soundtrack album by any stretch, "Sonic Highways" shares its title with the Dave Grohl-directed eight-episode HBO series described by Grohl as a love letter to the history of American music.

Red Light Fever is the 2010 album by Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders. Hawkins is known as the drummer for the Foo Fighters and this is his own project and it was released by Shanabelle/RCA.

Initially intended as a sign of gratitude to the group's fans, the EP was also dedicated to the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris. A single from the EP, "Saint Cecilia", peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in 2016.
