An excellent flutist, Peter Guidi (a bop-oriented player) often hums through his horn to create chords and dissonant sounds à la Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Guidi plays bass flute on three songs during this CD and switches to alto flute on "Serenata," otherwise performing on the standard flute.
